    Fantastic value

I was buying a bike on the Bike to Work scheme so was looking to get as much bike as I could for under a Grand. Tredz are the only online retailer, to my knowledge, who actually pass on discounts when using the scheme rather than charging the original list price. That would be reason enough to commend Tredz, but throw in the helpful advice and great customer service you'd be stupid to spend your Bike2Work voucher anywhere else! The bike itself is a work of art and bearing in mind that a 105 hydraulic disc groupset weighs in at £450-odd it's amazing value for money. It required some very minor self assembly but the necessary tools were supplied. The assembly amounted to putting the pedals on and straightening the handlebars out, although if the bike had come NOT needing those jobs doing I'd still have spent a day trying to get the bars right anyway... The bike is a lovely comfortable ride, the 105 groupset works flawlessly now that the brakes are sorted properly, and I don't think I'll ever tire of the stealthy looks... My other bike is a Fixie Inc. Backspin and the level of detailing on it is incredible, The Attain comes pretty close to it which is high praise. Every time you look at it you notice something new, be it the quality of the welding, a subtle little sticker, or the way the wheels are laced... Sadly the delivery experience was disappointing. It was scheduled to be delivered on a Thursday as I had the day off so I cancelled my plans and waited in. APPARENTLY the delivery company, "DX" will ONLY deliver to YOUR address; they will NOT leave with a neighbour! Anyways it didn't turn up due to being misrouted to the wrong delivery depot. There was no communication and I wasted a day waiting for a parcel that DX knew was not coming. So, I had to take Friday morning off work to receive it as they wouldn't leave it with my neighbour. Not very good service and not even a hint of an apology from them. Thanks to Tredz, though, who got on the case and made sure it was delivered on the morning so I didn't have to waste a second day...

    Superb Bike for the money

I spent a considerable amount of time shopping around for a good value road bike, as i already have a couple of very expensive ones and this bike couldn't be any better value. The 105 groupset is excellent, it's a notch down in stopping power from the Ultegra models, but it's always going to be at this price. It still stops me well and i haven't had any problems with the shifting and general build quality. The frame is very compliant, it's not carbon compliant but i was very pleasantly surprised how comfortable it is. The sizing tool got me spot on and actually helped me improve my position on some of my other bikes. All in all this is a very good value bike, especially on the cycle to work scheme. Only minor bugbear, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the bike, is the box it came in was absolutely huge, as the bike had to be built before shipping. It's a pain because i have to keep it in case of any issues for returns.

    First Road Bike

Very happy with the overall service from Tredz. Initially the bike wasn't due to be dispatched for a couple of weeks from order, but I had been contacted by Tredz to let me know they can dispatch the bike at an earlier date. Overall very happy. As for the bike, I'm still fairly new to cycling and I couldn't comment technically as I was advised by a friend for which groupsets and frame types to look out for, but after a little looking about this bike had a decent setup for the sale price. Only had the bike a week up to now and everything still feels very new, only time will tell the build quailty, but the performance of the bike so far has been spot on!
