The Lezyne Zecto Drive rear light is a great safety light for any commuter. 3 high intensity red LEDs give out a maximum 20 lumen with 180 degree visibility - great for approaching vulnerable areas like junctions and roundabouts. These side LED's also double as a charge and power indicator which is a very handy feature.

The Zecto Drive only weighs 52g (including the strap) and is very compact. It is also 100% waterproof and durable so will last the daily wear and tear of riding. You have 6 light modes to choose from including a Daytime flash mode - good for when you're riding at dusk and dawn.

USB rechargeable you can plug the Lezyne Zecto Drive into any USB port at work or home, so you'll never be without charge.

When things go wrong - Tredz perform

The Lezyne Zecto Drive Rear light is a nice bit of kit. Small, robust & easy to take on and off bike and so much better than Cateye which are fragile in comparison. My first one stopped working, so Tredz asked me to send it back to them so they could return to the manufacturer for repair. They kept me informed during the process, and fairly quickly came back to me to offer me a replacement as it could not be fixed. There customer service was exemplary which is rare nowadays, and based on my experience I would highly recommend Tredz. I have absolutely no personal connection with the company, and rarely bother to leave a review on any website, but these guys were exceptional.

    Zecto Rear Light

Bought this light from Tredz, and so far very happy. Solidly built small and bright with a number of different flashing modes. Previously bought Cateye rear lights which were not bad but eventually broke. The Lezyne looks a step up in quality.

    Bright light

A nice bright light with good settings and build quality. The only thing I would say is that the rubber cover for the charging point can make charging it a bit hit and miss until you find the best position to leave the lead

    Powerful and visible

Have used this light on the roads around London, it carries well through the long commute. The only issue I can point out is that to detach it, you have to take the whole unit down. It would be better if you had a separate mount that stayed on the seatpost all the time, and you just clipped the light unit in (much the same as the front one on the handlebars).

Lezyne Zecto - Lives up to it's reputation

This light was recommend by a friend. It really is a reliable and all round performer. So impressed that I bought a front light from Lezyne.

    Zecto Impressed so far

Recharge-ability was a must as I'm fed up supplying endless AAAs for my son’s (now broken) Cateye rear light. Already have a couple of different Lezyne lights so I know they're good. Not easy to see from the photo but the back/clip section of case is a hard plastic, the front (bezel surround) is rubber and the bezel is alloy. Very robust indeed. I do like the Lezyne rubber strap attachment system with the alternative of just clipping it on to something. Always useful to be able to easily remove the lights if you're leaving your bike chained up. As mentioned by another, the design means that it mounts slightly asymmetrically when strapped to a seat post but this does not prevent it being pointed directly rearwards. Light output is very adequate (although not ultra-bright) with good selection of flash or constant patterns. The integral rubber cover for the charging socket provides excellent protection but is, perhaps inevitably, a little fiddly to reinsert. Not yet able to comment on run times but expect them to be okay. Really like this solid little light and will probably get another for myself.

    Great so far

Really like this bright light. A friend had one and reported they were very impressed with it. So far mine has been great. Packs a really bright light. I haven't had to charge it yet, and I really like the charge indicator on the light. I commute for 45 minutes each way so I need to know a light will last the whole journey. It is ever so slightly fiddly to turn on and off, but at least it means it won't accidently get switched off en route!

    Compact and convenient

Very bright and various flash modes are quite useful. Easy to charge via USB. My only quibble is that is sits slightly askew when mounted on the seatpost due to it's beltclip being integral to the design. Also I have 2 of these and my first brought elsewhere had only 2 out of 3 LEDs working.

Very compact light that does the job well

It has several light functions, illuminates adequately, excellent duration for its pocketable size. Note the pro version has electronic wizardry that switches itself off after 3 minuutes when no motion. I would of probably gone for that one if I had known at the time. .Check the spec of the variation of model to decide, one variant can be used for front or rear.

    Good Light

I bought this light because of it's compact design. When fitted to the bike it doesn't spoil it's lines. It lasted a 4 hour ride when in flash mode.
