  The first thing that strikes you about the PRO S-Slide is how slim it is, but thankfully out of that sleekness comes strength. The chain tool is separate, sliding away from the main body but fastening back into position with a reassuring clunk.

  The tools are engineered with a square box section at the base with the functional part at the tip, so despite their relative slimness there's little rotational twist. This makes them very efficient and precise to use, particularly on the smaller Allen keys, and long enough to reach into fiddly spots.
  
  As with many models the 8mm Allen key fits over the 5mm one, but this tool has a ball bearing securing it in place making it much less likely to get lost. The chain tool incorporates a spoke key and socket set that are held in place magnetically plus it also houses a chain hook so that you don't have to find that magic third hand when pulling everything together.
  
  The separation of chain tool from the main chassis makes this one of the easier tools on test to use, although if we were being really fussy we'd like a deeper recessed bolt to secure the Allen key in place. But that's a minor quibble - this is a superb bit of kit.
