I was looking for a good value road shoe and these fit the bill. Light weight easy on and comfortable. Have used them in wet weather and they held up fine. Would recommend them as an entry level shoe.

Shimano SPD SL Pedals

As a commuter i was torn between SPD and SPD SL pedals. I opted for SPD SL due to the fact that i was told they are better for longer distances. This was the best info given. Reviews regarding them being more difficult to remove than SPD are true but we are talking milliseconds. For the longer rider SPD SL for the around town stop start rider SPD
