    Excellent product

Fitted easily to my MTB for winter commuting. Plenty sturdy enough for the luggage I needed to attach without being heavy (tubular aluminium). Excellent value for money,

    Strong, but light, sporty rack

This is a good strong design capable of carrying full touring panniers, but is also one of the lightest racks on the market. It is a bit taller than most other racks which gives more clearance over the wheel - which may be an advantage if you have very large tyres, although the disadvantage is that the load (and hence centre of gravity) is slightly higher. There is an interesting shaped bracket for mounting rear lights of different types: It features tubular flanges at each end (study the photos carefully) the purpose of which is not explained!

    Nice light rack

This a well thought-out design; a really light tubular rack. I love that you can permanently fix a rear light. Fitting to the bike is adaptable and easy to do.

    Tortec Tour Ultralite

A light rack with excellent build quality and versatile mounting options. It fitted easily onto my bike and is more than sturdy enough for commuting. Also perfect for light touring.

    560g nowadays, not 440g!!!

be warned newer model weights 560g and many retailers have not updated their listings just yet. Tredz for some reason is in no hurry to update omission despite it being reported to them. (weighted on precise verified scales)

    Check Eyelet Position before buying

This seemed like a really good rack but it wouldn't fit my Gary Fisher hybrid or my partners Ridgeback hybrid. This was due to the fact the main struts are vertical and on our bikes the welding at the bottom of the seat stays protruded out just above the mounting eyelets. Had to replace with a dog-leg style rack with diagonal strut.

    Good sturdy rack

Really impressed with this rack. Not sure its built for long touring but works very well around the city for everyday commuting use.
