The CAAD is an entry-level aluminium road racer, for anybody wanting a way into the sport; it can also be a fast and fun sportive bike.  It’s claimed the Cannondale’s CAAD10 aluminium frames (using Smartform alloy) can perform as well as carbon fibre, but without the carbon price tag.

Features

Race geometry, but comfortable

The CAAD has an aggressive race geometry, with a longer top-tube and shorter head-tube; great for competitions.  However, the frame is more forgiving that a pure-bred race machine like a SuperSix, giving you a more relaxed position for added comfort.  That makes it an ideal sportive bike for those that are looking to bring down their PB’s.

Race aluminium

What? Smartform alloy aluminium frame.

Why? The CAAD is the lightest in its class, with incredible stiffness, perfect for acceleration and handling.

Elite geometry

What? Aggressive race geometry.

Why? The CAAD10 geometry is virtually identical to Cannondale’s high end SuperSix road race range.  Longer top-tube and shorter head-tube puts you into an aero, performance position.

Hydraulic disc brakes

What? SRAM Rival model with disc brakes.

Why? Hydraulic disc brakes give you improved stopping power as well as control and confidence.
