The Giant XTC is a powerful MTB designed to go fast, with its super light, advanced-grade composite frame for 2015. Giant’s World Cup XC pro’s use the XTC when racing, so you can be sure it has the spec you need to conquer any trail or race.

For 2015, Giant is steering away from the 29er models keeping only two XTC’s as 29”. In are the new faster 27.5” (650b) wheels, which are taking the XC riding world by storm.

Features

Stability and speed

The biggest change to the XTC range has to be the decision to move towards the ‘in-betweener’ 27.5” wheels. There are still two 29er XTC’s for ultra-smooth riding, but Giant are focusing on combining the best of both worlds; the speed and acceleration of a 26” with the control and comfort of a 29”.

The high quality Shimano drivetrain, with powerful hydraulic disc brakes and a Fox Float fork make the XTC a comfortable ride even when you’re tearing down in a race, making this a great recreational bike as well.

Rider

The Giant XTC is primarily built for XC riders with a passion for racing and going fast. Everything on the bike has been designed to help you go faster without compromising on comfort; especially the 27.5” wheels. An OverDrive steerer tube gives you stiffness and sharp handling at the front end for when you’re really pushing your abilities.

Why? These frames use high performance grade carbon so the frame is lightweight, stiff and compliant, meaning you can get the most out of your machine.

Front-end handling

What? OverDrive steerer tube.

Why? Gives you super stiff and sharp handling on the front end for those fast technical runs.

Fox Float

What? Fox Float Evolution CTD remote fork with 100mm travel
