A chain tool that is small enough to go anywhere, yet which performs like a full size workshop tool
      • Fine thread and slide-away T-handle gives plenty of pressure at the pin head to move stubborn chain rivets
      • Includes a loosening shelf to release stiff links after assembly
      • Replaceable driving pin head
      • Works on most bicycle chains, including 10-speed
      • Weighs just 77 grams

    Great little chain tool

I bought a new one of these after my original one wore out, they are quite small and the thread on the punch eventually stripped, but unlike other tools I've tried the body remains perfect. I also bought the 3.2 chain tool for home use and will keep this for emergency repairs as such I believe this will last a lifetime.

Hight quality and easy to use

As soon as I took it out of the packaging I could tell that this is a high quality tool. The metal casting is very smooth and precise, and the screw action is very smooth - no jiggle or stiffness indicating poor manufacturing tolerance. I was a bit worried that the tool might be difficult to use as it is so compact, but that fear was unfounded - there was plenty of leverage and it didn't require much force at all do break a chain. The chain pin is replaceable (I didn't know that before I bought it!) which is great. If for any reason it does bend (which I can't see it doing), then it's easy to replace just that part. The instructions provided are very brief, but adequate. There's plenty of guides online anyway. Very glad that I spent the extra money on this tool rather than a cheap one - provided I don't lose it I can see this lasting a lifetime. The premium isn't just for a brand name, this is clearly a superior tool.
