What are bike bags?

Bike bags are a simple way to carry any type of cargo, either on your back in the form of a rucksack or attached to your bike.

Who needs bike bags?

Bike bags are really versatile – use them to accompany rides of any distance, whether they are for work or play.  Plenty of pockets will help even the most disorganised of riders.

What are the choices?

The choice of bike bag is huge, from a a simple seatpack with a spare tube and repair kit, to a pair of panniers for an expedition. There are also rucksacks and hydration packs for your back, holdalls and handlebar bags available.

What should I buy with them?

You’ll need a fork-mounted rack for front panniers and a rear rack for rear panniers.

Anything else?

Always buy a bag slightly larger than the one you’ll think you need. It’s surprising how many things you might need to pack.
