What workshop services are available?

We are suspending some of our non-essential Workshop services to ensure we operate within social distancing guidelines. Below you will find all the services that are available.

How many people will be allowed in the store at once?

As we maintain social distancing throughout our store, we will let a maximum of three customers browse the shop at any one time.

How will social distancing and hygiene be maintained?

Our store will be equipped with clear 2m markings, as well as hand gels and wipes available at the front of the store.

We will only be accepting card payments (contactless if possible). Finance payments will also be accepted.

Can I test ride a bike or try on clothing?

To ensure we keep all customers and colleagues safe the following items should not be touch or tried; Bikes, Helmets, Gloves and Clothing.

How do I book a workshop service?

Bike collections and workshop service bookings will be by appointment only. Please email swansea@tredz.co.uk for help with bookings.

How do I arrange collection of my bike?

To collect your bike and in order for us to limit the number of people within our store, please email swansea@tredz.co.uk to be given your collection time slot.

We're upgrading your store!

We’re giving our Cardiff store a fresh new look. To complete the refurbishment safely, the store will be closed from 24th December 2025 and is estimated to reopen on 7th January 2026.

While the store is closed, you can still shop with Tredz online using home delivery, InPost Lockers for deliveries and returns, or visit our Swansea store for in person support.

Shopping with Tredz while Cardiff is closed

You’ll still have full access to tredz throughout the closure. You can:

Returns During the Closure

You won’t be able to complete returns at the Cardiff store while it’s closed, but you’ve got four easy alternatives.

1. Return via InPost Locker (24/7)

You can return smaller items 24/7 using an InPost Locker. Just register your return online, choose InPost, pack your item, and drop it at your nearest locker. We’ll process your refund once it reaches our warehouse.

2. Return items to Tredz Swansea

Prefer to return in person? Our Swansea store will accept returns and follow the same process you’d normally use in Cardiff.

3. Return items using Royal Mail

You can return eligible items using Royal Mail for a £3.00 fee. Simply register your return online, print your label, and drop your parcel at your local Post Office or in a Royal Mail post box (size restrictions apply). Once your item reaches us, we’ll process your refund minus the return postage fee.

4. Return items using Asda ToYou

For items under 25kg, you can return your order through Asda ToYou for £3.00. Start your return online to get your label or QR code, then drop your parcel at any participating Asda store. Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund minus the Asda return fee.

If you’ve placed a Click & Collect order for Cardiff:

All orders must be collected before 24th December
If you can’t collect before this date, please contact the Cardiff store as soon as possible so we can advise on next steps
Click & Collect to Cardiff will be unavailable while the store is closed
Customers can continue to shop online and select home delivery or InPost Locker delivery for smaller items

(Existing Click & Collect orders cannot be converted to home delivery).

Novuna Personal Finance offers a wide range of finance options to suit all budgets:

0% APR finance: For short terms or large spends you can spread the cost over up to 48 months with no additional costs.
14.9% APR Finance: For longer terms on lower spends you can choose to spread the cost paying 14.9% interest over your chosen period. Please note we may receive commission on the 14.9% finance options.
Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL): Our deferred finance option allows you to take a payment holiday for 12 months then spread the cost over the following 12 or 24 months at 9.9% APR interest. Bike Servicing

Serviced bikes work better and last longer. Our bike service will keep your machine in top condition, costing you less in repairs and replacements down the line.

There are 6 bike service packages to choose from; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and E-Bike Gold/Platinum. You'll need to book a free bike safety check at the store by calling 029 2070 2229 or emailing Cardiff@tredz.co.uk

Bronze Service is a basic check and service, ideal for regular intervals to ensure your bike is safe and your gearing is running smoothly. Service includes: gears & brakes checked and adjusted / chain checked and lubricated / wheels & tyres inspected for wear.

Silver (hydraulic brakes)

All the benefits of a Silver Service but with extra features including; hydraulic brake bleeding, pads/cables replaced (parts extra) basic wheel trues (not spoke replacement).
