The Castelli Idro Waterproof Jacket is our first ladies cycling jacket to be made of the revolutionary GoreTex SHAKEDRY fabric.

Shakedry is a 2 layer laminate but unlike all other waterproof laminate, the waterproof bit is on the outside not in the middle. This results in water just running off (like a freshly waxed car) and it keeps running off, ride after ride, after ride, forever. (all other waterproofs rely on a DWR coating to achieve runoff and this wears in time)

In practice, all this tech means you get an ultralight fully waterproof cycling jacket with exceptional breathability that packs up to the size of a satsuma and never needs reproofing.

The Idro comes with all the features you would expect from a compact fully waterproof jacket - so you get a waterproof easy slide YKK zipper fully taped seams a dropped tail and long arms

The cut is quite snug so it doesn't flap about on the descents so choose your normal jersey size.
