An adaptable ‘cross frame that shares the race winning Crosslight geometry but is built using tough and lightweight, Kinesis Double Butted, 7005 series tubing. The FiveT uses the ‘Ergo’ top tube, making it more comfortable for carrying over longer distances. The tube is also wider where it meets the seat tube, helping to resist twisting forces along the front triangle
This frame delivers high performance at an entry level price, it’s ideal for the rider who is new to the sport but has the potential to progress to higher level competition
The FiveT features ‘aStay’ chainstays and although designed primarily as a ‘crosser, it has clearance for 3 rings, twin bottle mounts, rack and mudguard eyelets and the option to use the eyeletted ‘PureCX’ or ‘Crosslight3’ forks
These features mean it performs equally well as a ‘crosser, tough tourer, commuter, winter bike or all four!

HEADSET: Integrated 11/8", 36º/45º for a 45mm OD head tube
The headset drops into a tapered seat in the head tube and is tensioned using a headset tensioner within the fork steerer. Tensioning the headset centres it on the taper and prevents any play. Our head tubes are 45mm Outside Dia. [41.2 inner bore] for a bearing Dia. of 41mm. The angled seat in the frame is 45º, the internal angle of the bearing is 36º
FORK RECOMMENDATION: 'PureCX' full carbon, 480g. Or 'CX' alloy, 660g
KINESIS 7005 DOUBLE BUTTED: Our 7005 alloy tubing is 5-10% stronger than 6061 tube, by most measures. Double-butted tubes are specially drawn so that they are thicker at the ends of the tubes, where they are welded and stresses are highest, and thinner in the middle to minimize weight
aStay: An oversize drive side chainstay enhances acceleration and helps get the power down when out of the saddle. The aStay system allows us to keep the back end light without compromising response and stiffness
