Great Bike
by Anonymous user on 20/05/2020

I have had a Scott cycle for many years and after she gave up the ghost I reviewed numerous bikes from numerous suppliers and decided on the Merina. Delighted with all the features only downside are the wiring is external vs other similar models but the other features far outweigh this.

Easy Riding
by stephen b on 11/05/2020

I was originally after another Giant hybrid bike but, had issues in getting exactly what I wanted. I also looked at a few other makes before I decided on the Merida. This had the best specs for the price. Riding. Is a pleasure on this model. I've had two, hour long rides on it in the last week since I have received it. First ride was more about finding my seat height and reach right as there is plenty of adjustment that can be made with both the seat and the handlebars. The suspension seat post is a little stiffer than expected but, hopefully it will free up a bit with more use. The lock out function is great as my ride was partly on smooth roads and the other half was on uneven trails. So locked out on road and opened suspension when on trail path. Very pleased with the Matt paint finish, which gives it a more expensive look than was paid for. This was borne out when my son first saw the bike and thought I had spent a lot more than I had. This is my first Merida bike but, judging by my experience so far it will not be the last when the time comes. Very good value and a good urban hybrid, ideal for both road and light trail riding.
