As the other reviewer wrote, this is the only carbon paste without grit that can damage components. Not only for possible resale but for one's own use, for example avoiding visible scratch marks if you change your seat post to a higher position. As with all carbon paste value for money is subjective; it'll last forever but if you are only doing one seat post your lbs would probably be happy to give you a small amount for free. It's also more expensive than alternatives, however it's a negligible amount to not damage carbon components.

Motorex Carbon Grease

Having looked around, this seems to be the ONLY carbon paste not using hard granules/grit to aid friction. That means it's the only one likely not to damage expensive components you may want to onsell. The pot with its built-in brush is genius - no messy fingers, apply just what you need to the right place. 100g for £15 is a bargain - probably the last pot you'll ever need unless you're running a bikeshop. Have done a number of friend's seatposts and stems/bars - the reciprocal beers have already justified the outlay. Cheers!
