Great piece of kit, feels very flimsy
by Anonymous user on 01/08/2020

I bought this product after being recommended this from multiple colleagues who use it to reduce the size of sleeping bags/large clothings. This was trialled in both a camping and military environment. I loved the valve which allows you to reduce the size of the bag massively, and the dry bag works as advertised. The 22L size fits a large sleeping bag easily and compacts it. Unfortunately the material is quite flimsy for what I expected and it was rather an expensive purchase for just the valve. Overall for me, although expensive, it was a useful purchase. For others it may be slightly highly priced. I also worry about the thin flimsy material it is made from which allows it to be weatherproof but not fully waterproof. Pros: - The air valve is fantastic - Compresses down very small - Incredibly lightweight - Solid air valve means you won't accidentally open it Cons: - Material is not fully waterproof - Flimsy structure concerns me about durability - Fit for camping but not for being ragged around

Bike Bags Guide

What are bike bags?

Bike bags are a simple way to carry any type of cargo, either on your back in the form of a rucksack or attached to your bike.

Who needs bike bags?

Bike bags are really versatile – use them to accompany rides of any distance, whether they are for work or play.  Plenty of pockets will help even the most disorganised of riders.

What are the choices?

The choice of bike bag is huge, from a a simple seatpack with a spare tube and repair kit, to a pair of panniers for an expedition. There are also rucksacks and hydration packs for your back, holdalls and handlebar bags available.

What should I buy with them?

You’ll need a fork-mounted rack for front panniers and a rear rack for rear panniers.

Anything else?

Always buy a bag slightly larger than the one you’ll think you need. It’s surprising how many things you might need to pack.
