    Great Budget Workstand

A great value workstand that does the job well for its budget price. The work stand is sturdy and flexible enough to handle MTBs and road bikes. The grip is not that great by iteslf, but if used with a foam tube it can grip the seat bar or top bar without marking the bike. For a budget workstand this one is hard to beat.

    Not bad for the money

It's actually better built than I would have expected but it's not high end by any stretch. It's budget but it will do, for the basic level of maintenance I carry out on my road bikes. Only thing is that it doesn't grip seat posts and that does mean that the bike won't sit level in the stand but I haven't found this to be a major problem. For £40, who's complaining?

    Great bit of kit

Very pleased with this. Having looked at other reviews I was concerned about being 40 pounds, but height mechanism is adjustable so unless you enjoy stooping I wouldn't worry as one of the other reviews says. Having wheels up at eye height makes truing wheels easy and also very easy to work on other components without having to balance the bike against a wall... All in all very happy customer and glad I didn't bother spending out the big bucks on this one, but very pleased to have it

    Does the job

Good spread of the feet for a stable base. Clamping needs to be well tightened up. Sets the bike up a little high though.

    Good Value - sturdy.

I thought this might not be great as it is at the budget end of the market, but it holds my very heavy mountain bike well, so I know it will be good for the lighter road bike too.
