Been wearing these for a few weeks now. In -1c combined with some thick socks they kept my feet warm for about 2 hours. I do get cold toes even in the spring but that's probably a problem with my circulation. I wore them on a ride when it rained the whole 2 hours and feet stayed warm. Although feet got wet from rain draining into the boots from my leggings they didn't get cold and they didn't feel like blocks of ice which usually happens when my ordinary cycling shoes get wet. They're definitely windproof and waterproof but not 100%.
