Product Description

Go big over challenging terrain on the Scott Voltage FR 730 freeride downhill bike. With dialled DH geometry and a capable component spec, this is a full sus mountain bike for pushing the limits.

The hydroformed 6061 aluminium alloy frame features a slack head angle with short chainstays and a low bottom bracket height which offers stability with nimble handling characteristics. Designed for 27.5” (650b) wheels you can convert the Voltage to 26” wheels while maintaining the same great geometry.

“The Voltage FR gives me the stability I need to go big and the suspension backs up most of my rider errors. The layout gives the bike a lighter feel and more playful feel without losing the stability I need to smash rough straights. Another good feature is that you are able to ride 26” and 27.5” wheels which gives you the choice to ride your preferred wheel size and still have the right geometry.”

Niko Vink

Up front you get the X-Fusion Metric R27.5 fork that offers 180mm of air sprung suspension travel with adjustable rebound damping. The 190 mm of rear wheel travel is taken care of by the Marzocchi Roco R with size specific spring weights. The SRAM X4/5 8 speed drivetrain, with chain device, offers reliable shifting while the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give you powerful stopping control.

Ride bike park, freeride and downhill trails with confidence on the Scott Voltage FR 730.
