Great boots
by Anonymous user on 08/10/2019

Very pleased with these. Have used mw80 and mw81s every winter for years, am now trying to move away from goretex and tried these. Opening is a complete redesign and works well and is certainly easier to put on. Slightly warmer than mw81. Sole is more like a walking boot and quite grippy rubber. I wear them with sealskinz socks with silicon gripper and will be comfy all winter. Only gripe is have to be careful where speedlace toggle sits on top of foot.

Great winter boot
by Anonymous user on 17/02/2019

I bought these after being fed up of old feet and overshoes which ripped easily. They are warm, have not had wet feet and are quick to put on and remove. Also easy to clean. Only downside is that soles are slippery on wet stones. Overall a great purchase

Dont waste your money!
by Anonymous user on 23/01/2019

Absolutely not waterproof, don't know how they can put Dryshield on the side as they didn't keep my feet dry in the wet. Also they don't keep your feet that warm, I was out in -1 temp and my feet were freezing.

First test so far so good!
by Anonymous user on 30/12/2018

I got these for Christmas after regularly getting cold and wet feet using my existing, should I say, summer MTB shoes. Have only worn once so far hence the 4 star rating, too early in the day to conclude they are 100% reliable in al areas? But I have to say, first use I am immensely impressed! They kept my feet toast warm on a cold morning ride where temperature was approx 6 degrees. They also kept my feet dry when faced with muddy off road sections on ride and big puddles. My feet felt much more secure, dry and warm in these boots but yet to test them in the rain but having hosed them down whilst still wearing them after muddy ride, with not a slightest leak or wetness I'm sure they will deliver! I purchased these after much research and reading of reviews and if MBR magazine can score them 10/10 in a winter boot comparison then they must have done so for a reason! Size wise I'd say ignore the size chart advising they come up small and to opt for a size bigger as these without question are true to size and allow room for thicker socks without shoes feeling loose and roomy. I'm a size 9 UK. So my verdict so far, excellent, comfortable, warm and dry shoe which I wish I had have bought a long time ago! 100% my only shoe now for the wetter and colder months.

Riding off road in the aftermath of heavy rain these did not keep my feet dry but did keep them warm. Comfy. Easy to get on and off. Toe wiggle room.

Comfy and seem to be constructed, haven't tested in the rain yet so can't comment on how waterproof they are, slightly disappointed the didn't come with a set of cleats
