Product Description

Featured in the 2016 Dirt 100 '29” enduro bike of the year? Of course'

The S-Works Enduro 29er is for getting rowdy over the entire mountain. Nothing beats the S-Works Enduro when it comes to playful riding over difficult terrain. More than capable of the occasional uplift day and Alpine DH holiday, it is nimble and capable on the ascents too.

New for 2016 are spec upgrades. The Enduro is agile, eager and ready to dominate the entire mountain.

You can buy the 2016 S-Works Enduro 29er mountain bike through a 0% interest Tredz Finance package.

The S-Works is a combination of carbon and alloy, creating a lighter frame for easier climbs and flickable descents. A FACT IS-X 11m carbon composite front triangle is matched to an M5 alloy rear. Dialled 29er geometry combines nimble handling characteristics without compromising rapid rolling properties..

The angles are fitting of an enduro bike of this calibre with a slack head angle, long wheelbase, short chainstays and a low bottom bracket. The S-Works Enduro is naturally stable at speed and when cornering whilst remaining agile.

The S-Works Enduro is made for taking on the most technically demanding trails you can pedal up to. 160mm front and 155mm rear travel is very long for a 29er. Brand new for 2016 is the Öhlins STX 22 single tube air shock, specially developed for Specialized. You’re getting coil shock performance in a much lighter package. There are two separate compression damping circuits so you have more control over shock performance.

Upfront is the brilliant RockShox Pike RCT3 fork. This is simply one of the best enduro forks on the market, especially at this price point. It is stiff, plush and pretty lightweight. It has a two stage compression adjust so you can fine tune the damping.

Specialized’s FSR suspension platform provides fully active suspension performance even while pedalling and braking.

New for 2016 is a shorter stem and wider bars for massively improved steering response and stability when descending. The bars are 30mm wider at 780mm. The stem is 15mm shorter at 45mm (small / medium) and 60mm (large)

Naturally the S-Works gets the best with the SRAM XX1 drivetrain. This is the top of the line enduro groupset on the market. The addition of a 30T front chain ring offers lower gear ratios for easier climbing.

SRAM Guide carbon brakes offer powerful braking with great modulation. Roval Traverse SL Carbon wheels are very stiff and strong, in a lightweight package. The tubeless plug system makes for easy tubeless setup.

Upgraded from 2015 is the Command Post IRcc dropper post, now with 10 steps of adjustability. You can get the perfect mid height for each trail section.
