Product Description

Tifosi's Clarion Collection features a great new lens coating technology combined with super-strong colours for maximum style. Clarion lenses uses a new cutting-edge full mirror hydrophobic coating, preventing both water and sweat from beading up on the lens surface to improve visibility in all weathers. Clarion technology greatly reduces glare and gives an even colour treatment across the entire width of the lens, for an amazingly striking appearance and consistent light transmission, so reducing eye fatigue. NB the lens colour on the inside of the lens is the standard Tifosi Smoke.
Based on the best-selling Podium, the Podium XC has a slimmer profile and offers a more streamlined snug fit, similar to the Tifosi Slip, and with greater rigidity than the Podium & Podium S.

Podium "XC"

Love these glasses, tried them out last weekend at coed y Brenin, I would say I have a medium size face and fit is snug, but comfortable they don't work loose, vision is not restricted as frameless lenses I I found I had good clear vision in the open and equally amongst the trees where the light is restricted , also they never steamed up, I won't cycle without them from now on. Very pleased.

Cycling Glasses Guide

What are cycling glasses?

Cycling glasses are protective eyewear that is made to guard your eyes from flying debris and high speed insects, as well as from the sun and rain. They are designed to fit with your cycling helmet so they won’t fall off as you ride.

Who needs cycling glasses?

Whether you ride on road or off road, you need a pair of cycling glasses for protection and comfort. They’ll stop you squinting into the sun and getting distracted, so they’ll improve your riding experience immeasurably.

What are the choices?

There are quite a lot of frame shapes and arm lengths to choose from so there should be something to suit your face. Larger lenses give more protection and there are different lens colours to match the light conditions you’re riding in.

What should I buy with it?

Cycling glasses go hand in hand with helmets as they fit together. Make sure you choose a helmet that’ll work well with your glasses. Clashing colours are a cycling faux pas too.

Anything else?

Lots of glasses have interchangeable lenses so they’re brilliant value. You can swap the lenses depending on the conditions, which is like having several pairs of glasses in one.

See our Cycling glasses guide for more.
