Does not fit handlebars

The description says fits the handlebars of any bike whereas it comes nowhere near the handlebars of my specialized tricross so is completely useless. I bought it specifically because it said this and found that it will only fit an extremely narrow diameter

Excellent bell

For the price you can't go wrong. The bell is loud enough to be heard in most places (barring loud traffic noise). It's small and easy to fit - but on narrower handlebars only. Fitted mine at a slight angle so the rain runs off and it works when wet - a problem with many bells I find.

Lasted for about 2 months

Lasted for two months then the bell stopped working and the hammer fell off. Probably worth investing in something a little more robust!

Broke instantly

Fair enough its very cheap and it does produce plenty of sound but sadly mine only lasted about four days of normal usage before it broke apart completely. Might be worth investing in something better

BBB LOUD & CLEAR

Having had the mad eyes off couple of coffin dodgers on a recent canal towpath ride it was time to get a bell. These are very well made solid striker not the springy type that bend. Very happy with these cannot recommend highly enough. Bought 2 more for the rest of the fleet.

Disappointed

Build quality is OK but bell is no good for me as the supplied bracket is too small for my handlebars.

Bells & Horns Guide

What are bike bells and horns?

Bells and horns are a great way of alerting other road or path users to your presence. They are easy to attach to your handlebars and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and loudness options.

Who needs a bells or horn?

If you regularly cycle on paths designed for bikes and pedestrians, bells and horns are a must-have for alerting people to your presence.

What are the choices?

There are a variety of bells and horns to choose from, varying in budget and volume. Choose one that’s easy to operate when wearing gloves and one that’s unlikely to rust quickly.

What should I buy with them?

Other accessories for your handlebars include lights and cycle computers – why not create yourself a mini control panel of useful devices?

Anything else?

Why can’t an elephant ride a bicycle? Because he doesn’t have a thumb to ring the bell.
