ADV
Adventure is in its name. The Boardman ADV is designed around versatility. It is equally at home exploring new trails and gravel roads, or covering long distances while carrying all your gear. With both the carbon and alloy ranges, you can keep exploring or pin a number on for your next gravel event.
Alloy Frame
The alloy ADV features a smooth welded, 6061 alloy frame with butted tube profiles. To complement its clean aesthetic, the frames, thinned tubes, and carbon fork play their part in reducing weight and improving ride quality. This affordable option is great for commuting or bike-packing with its mounting points, opening the door to versatile gravel riding.
Tubeless Ready
The ADV range features Goodyear's 40mm tubeless and gravel-specific Connector tyres. Designed as a fast-rolling all-terrain tyre, its versatile tread pattern with tightly-spaced centre knobs and aggressive side knobs delivers straight-line momentum whilst retaining grip demands when the direction changes or the route gets technical.
Flared Handlebars
Flared alloy handlebars are featured across the board with the ADV range. The flare allows for an optimal ergonomic hand position on the hoods, more control whilst in the drops making for a comfortable and controlled ride on and off-road. This flare also allows more frontal space to carry additional luggage, such as bar bags

“ I bought the 2026 Boardman ADV 8. 8 in mid-June 2026 from Tredz and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Tredz have a great range of products, good stock levels and competitive prices and I’ve used them often for various bike gear — they’ve always been reliable. Ordering online was straightforward. I phoned to check delivery timings and the advice I received was clear and accurate. The delivery timeline they gave me was met exactly. I was kept well informed throughout by email and mobile, both from Tredz and the courier. The bike arrived on time, well packed, with good instructions for setup. The colour and finish are solid, and although I’m still getting used to riding it, everything about the delivery and presentation was spot on. I've used to riding a road bike for the past 20 plus years so this feels quite different to me but the gearing is excellent on the hills. At this very competitive £735 price point, it’s exactly the kind of bike you’d expect, solid, capable and great value. Any small things I've noticed, such as the pedals, stem length or saddle that are just not me, are simply personal preferences that come with any bike in this range. None of this reflects on Tredz. Their service has been consistently good, and this purchase was no exception. Overall, a very positive experience. I’ll continue using Tredz for cycling gear and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
