The URB 8.8 combines a light-weight 6061 X7 Aluminium frame and fork with an efficient riding position and stable handling to give a fast but controlled ride, ideal for the cut and thrust of the commute.

A Gates Carbon Belt Drive turns an 7 Speed Shimano Nexus internal gear hub, which is an almost maintenance-free package. The belt drive requires no lubrication, so no grease marks on your legs or clothing and will not rust, ever! So can handle year-round riding with ease.

The Vittoria Zaffiro tyres are 32mm wide, offering some comfort over rough surfaces and are extremely durable, keeping you moving in all conditions. A black reflective sidewall increases visibility when riding at night without compromising on style. Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes deliver powerful and consistent stopping in the wet or dry.

The URB's contact points have also been given careful commuting consideration, with the lock-on grips and saddle made from our durable Urban Canvas material to shrug off knocks and scrapes. Mounts for full mudguards and a pannier rack mount mean the URB can quickly adapt to wetter weathers and carry luggage.
