The Electric P Line 4 Speed takes Brompton’s well-known folding design and adds a smooth, intuitive electric system that makes everyday rides easier. The main frame uses precision-drawn, heat-treated steel tubing with hand-brazed joints for strength and durability. The Superlight rear frame brings titanium into the mix to cut weight and sharpen the bike’s handling, as well as adding a replaceable hanger and Brompton’s suspension block to keep the ride settled over rougher surfaces. Roller wheels make it easier to manoeuvre the bike when folded.

A carbon fork further reduces weight and adds a responsive feel when steering through traffic or navigating narrow paths. The compact geometry maintains Brompton’s signature quick handling, and the extended seatpost suits a wide range of riders.

Brompton’s 4-speed drivetrain provides a practical 163% gear range for city gradients, with a light shifter and short, positive shifts. The 54T chainring and 11–18T cassette balance quick acceleration with comfortable cruising. Stopping duties are handled by Brompton’s dual-pivot callipers, offering controlled braking that works well in dry and damp conditions.

The new e-Motiq system is the heart of the bike. Its custom rear hub motor delivers 24 Nm of torque and assists your pedalling with a smooth, natural feel. The 345Wh Greenway battery offers up to 90 km of range depending on terrain and assist level, and charges fully in around five hours. The handlebar control screen displays essential ride data clearly and allows quick changes to assist modes.

What sets e-Motiq apart is how it adapts to you. Over the first 100 km of riding, the system learns your style and refines its range predictions every few kilometres, giving you more accurate feedback and support tuned to your habits. The result is an e-bike that feels increasingly personal and predictable the more you ride it.
