Cannondale SuperX Apex 1 2018 - Cyclocross Bike
Carbon strength and slender lines combine with a 1x11 SRAM drivetrain for a race-ready CX bike. The Cannondale SuperX Apex 1 is lightweight and ready to take on challenging cyclocross terrain.
The Ballistec carbon frame is super lightweight, featuring up to date cyclocross racing geometry, complete with slack head angle and longer front centre. The rear triangle is offset with Cannondale’s Ai technology, to allow for super short chainstays for nimble handling. The Speed Save Micro Suspension uses strategically flattened chainstays and seatstays to absorb bumps and vibrations, offering greater traction, comfort and control.
Neat internal cable routing, flat mounted brakes and thru-axles front and rear complete this excellent frame. The SuperX Ballistec fork is fully carbon, featuring internal brake routing and a 12mm thru-axle, for direct steering.
SRAM’s Apex 1x11 speed groupset simplifies the drivetrain with a single shifter, delivering accurate and reliable shifts no matter the weather. SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes match the drivetrain, giving solid braking power with plenty of modulation.
Schwalbe X-One 33c tyres are cyclocross-specific, made to deal with the various terrains you’d encounter in a CX race. Well-spaced knobs shed mud, while giving plenty of traction.
