Done 303km and spent 20h on my new Cannondale Treadwell EQ under the sun and rain. Well this bike is slow but if that’s not speed that you’re after this might be the one for you. It’s a very capable bike on and off road, on the cobblestone, canal path or any gravel won’t phase you this bike got your back , thanks to the great mudguards and precise braking, so I’d say it’s an all terrain shire horse. It’s easy to hook a couple of panier bags and put a bag in the front panier mind you it’s not very deep and your front cargo will need to be secured firmly. Perfect around to go around town and to get to my allotment and back 12 km, but it’s also a very enjoyable bike to take a longer 30/40 km ride. The front handle bar is wide and not the easiest to put on or off a train but the riding position is a real joy and will keep you smiling all the way. Not a 5* rating as I find the gear range just about right but you’ll have to work hard in steep incline and gain speed. The advent system does the job but isn’t the smoothest, I’ve upgraded the saddle this is not the type found on the T3 but the more basic one I guess a saving had to be found somewhere. I’m very happy with my purchase thanks Cannondale.
