Product Description

Our sleek new ultralight BM-45 barend mirror easily attaches to drop and flat bars, making it perfect for all bikes. Constructed of aluminum and glass for durability and nearly distortion-free viewing, the BM-45 represent the height of handlebar mirror construction and design. Minimal projection from the bar means never having to sacrifice clean aesthetics for critical rear-view safety again.

Note: Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

Excellent

This is a really excellent mirror. Doesn’t look out of place on road bike. Nice and compact but good field of vision. Good representation of how far away the vehicle is behind you as some mirrors distort the distance too much. Doesn’t move or vibrate. It shouldn’t replace you looking over your shoulder but is very handy to keep an eye on what’s behind you. 10/10.

Cat Eye BM45

This is probably the best mirror on the market for road bikes exept for one point which is why I have marked it down to 3 stars from 5. The problem is that if you catch the mirror with your knee which is easily done whem cornering the lens and holder flips out and falls into the road. This is because it uses a small plastic ball joint for adjustment which is not robust enough to take a small knock. Mine fell off into the road a few times until finally it was run over by a following vehicle.

If you need a mirror

I've tried a few mirrors and this is the best one overall, if you have neck problems this mirror will just give you a view behind.

bar end mirror

Years ago I actually made a mirror from an old small blind spot mirror which fitted onto the wing mirror of your car. It worked great for years, but when it fell to pieces I saw this mirror at Tredz and it is the best piece of kit I have purchased for a while. I would never go out for a ride without it. Fits neatly on the end of my dropped handlebar and gives a great view of oncoming traffic..

Best mirror

If you're riding on roads, this is the best tool for the visibility job. I can't imagine cycling without this mirror now, and have bought several to put on every bike and give them to friends I think need them. The Cateye mirror is the best I've tried, and most discrete. Easy to fit, and gives you confidence that you know whats behind you.

Just fantastic

I agonised over this decision as it's not the coolest piece of kit for a road bike. But commuting, age and its less than compliant neck meant this was a must for me. Very easy to mount. Rock solid when mounted, with a ball joint that has just the right amount of friction and "give". A quick glance to the bars and I know exactly what's going on behind me, and just how impatient I'm making the drivers behind me. I still find myself craning my neck from time to time, but I'm getting used to this and loving it. If you're a commuter, it should be on your must-have list. I hesitate to make the same claim for sport cyclists, although it's just as true. :)

Bike Mirror

Excellent mirror with good visibility. Will be ordering another one for my road bike. As usual the service from Tredz is excellent, especially the Haribo's

Cracking bit of kit

Never used a mirror before ordered this and love it. Not big and bulky sits inside the handle bar tubes. No more turning round on rides.
