The Cervélo S5 Ultegra Di2 is designed with one goal in mind: outright speed. Developed using feedback from elite-level racing and refined through extensive aerodynamic testing, the latest S5 delivers measurable aero gains while maintaining the balanced handling and stability expected from a modern race bike.
Its carbon frame uses deeper tube shaping around the head tube and fork to reduce drag at the front of the bike, where aerodynamic improvements have the greatest effect. Cervélo’s distinctive V-stem concept evolves further with the integrated HB19 carbon cockpit, creating a cleaner airflow path while maintaining impressive front-end stiffness for sprinting and precise cornering.
The all-carbon Bayonet S5 fork contributes to the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency while helping deliver confident steering accuracy at speed. Despite its race-focused design, the S5 still offers composed handling that works equally well during long days in the saddle, technical descents and fast group riding.
Shimano’s Ultegra Di2 12-speed electronic groupset provides crisp wireless shifting with a wide gear range thanks to the 11-34 cassette. Hydraulic disc brakes offer dependable stopping power and modulation in all weather conditions, making the bike more manageable during aggressive descending and fast-paced riding.
A standout feature is the inclusion of a dual-sided 4iiii Precision Pro power meter integrated into the Shimano Ultegra chainset, allowing accurate power tracking for structured training and race preparation straight out of the box.
Cervélo worked closely with Reserve to develop the Reserve 57TA and 64TA carbon wheelset specifically around the S5 platform. The deep-section aerodynamic wheel combination helps reduce drag while maintaining stability in crosswinds, and the Vittoria Corsa Pro tubeless-ready tyres add speed, grip and road feel.
