Developed for riders who race, train and ride the same bike week after week, the Soloist sits between Cervélo's lightweight and aero-focused race platforms. It combines aerodynamic development with a relatively low system weight, giving it the versatility to tackle fast rolling roads, climbs and competitive riding.

Cervélo used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to identify areas where airflow could be improved without adding unnecessary material. The latest design uses a deeper head tube and fork legs, while the bottom bracket junction helps shield the rear wheel from the airflow. Cervélo claims these changes save 8.6 watts of drag compared with the previous Soloist, with compatible aero bottles offering a further claimed 4.3-watt saving.

Those aerodynamic gains haven't come at the expense of unnecessary weight. Despite increasing the surface area of both the frame and fork, Cervélo has reduced their combined weight compared with the previous generation. This helps preserve the responsive feel riders want when accelerating, climbing or changing pace.

SRAM's Rival AXS E1 groupset brings wireless electronic shifting to the build, with a 48/35t chainset and 10-36t cassette providing a broad spread of gears. The integrated power meter also lets you measure your effort, helping with pacing and structured training without requiring an additional upgrade.

Reserve 40 carbon wheels complement the frame with a versatile 40mm rim depth, balancing aerodynamic performance with manageable weight for varied road riding. They're paired with 29mm Vittoria Corsa N.EXT TLR tyres, adding useful volume for grip and comfort while retaining a fast-rolling road setup. Tubeless compatibility also gives you the option to move away from inner tubes.

The HB18 carbon cockpit and fully integrated routing keep the front of the bike clean, while the SP27 carbon seatpost completes a build focused on combining speed, low weight and everyday race-bike usability.
