The Attain C:62 SLT sits at the performance-focused end of Cube's Attain range, but it hasn't been designed purely around outright speed. Its C:62 carbon construction balances efficient power transfer with compliance to help reduce fatigue, making it well suited to riders who want a quick road bike that's comfortable enough for longer days.
Cube uses its Twin Mold manufacturing process to precisely control the carbon lay-up and resin distribution during production. This helps place material where it's needed for strength and stiffness while avoiding unnecessary weight, contributing to the bike's stated 7.8kg overall weight.
The C:62 frame is paired with Cube's CSL Race C:62 full carbon fork. Carbon construction keeps weight down while helping absorb some of the vibration transmitted through the front of the bike on rougher road surfaces.
Cables and brake hoses are routed internally through the headset and frame, while an integrated seatpost clamp maintains the clean appearance. The frame also includes the option to fit Cube's storage box, providing a discreet way to carry small ride essentials.
An IC Race Cockpit System combines the bar and stem into a clean, integrated unit with internal cable routing. Aero spacers maintain the streamlined setup around the headset, while a Garmin mount interface provides a neat option for fitting a compatible cycling computer.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 provides electronic 2x12-speed shifting. The 50/34t chainset and 11-34t cassette give a broad spread of ratios, combining higher gears for faster riding with lower options for longer or steeper climbs.
Di2 uses electronic signals rather than mechanical cables to operate the derailleurs, providing quick and consistent gear changes with minimal lever effort. The system can also be configured through Shimano's compatible E-Tube software, allowing riders to personalise selected shifting functions.
Shimano Ultegra R8170 hydraulic disc brakes use 160mm rotors front and rear. Hydraulic operation provides progressive braking control and dependable performance in changing weather, while the Flat Mount calipers maintain a tidy road-bike installation.
Newmen Advanced A.50 SJ carbon wheels bring a deeper 50mm profile to the build. Their carbon construction balances low weight with aerodynamic performance, making them well suited to maintaining speed on faster sections while remaining responsive when accelerating.
They're paired with 32mm Continental Grand Prix 5000 S-TR tyres. The wider road tyre volume adds comfort and grip compared with narrower traditional road setups, while both the tyres and Newmen wheels are tubeless ready if you want to move to a compatible tubeless setup.
A 27.2mm Newmen Advanced carbon seatpost adds another degree of compliance at the rear of the bike and is paired with an ACID Nuance SLT Carbon saddle. Together with the 32mm tyres and carbon frame, these components help support the Attain's balance between efficiency and longer-distance comfort.
At a stated 7.8kg, the Attain C:62 SLT brings together a lightweight carbon chassis, electronic Ultegra shifting, carbon wheels and an integrated cockpit without turning the bike into an uncompromising race machine. It's particularly suited to riders looking for a fast road bike for sportives, quick group rides and longer days where comfort still matters.
