The Cube Attain C:62 SLX is designed to combine efficient road performance with the comfort needed for longer days in the saddle. Its C:62 carbon frameset, electronic Shimano 105 gearing and carbon wheels create a refined setup for everything from quick weekend rides to long-distance routes and sustained climbing.
Cube constructs the frame from C:62 carbon using its Twin Mold Technology. The design is intended to combine efficient power transfer with carefully engineered compliance, helping reduce the effect of rougher road surfaces without taking away from the bike's responsive road-going character.
Internal cable routing contributes to the clean appearance of the frame, while an integrated seatpost clamp further tidies the profile. The frame uses flat-mount disc brakes and a 12x142mm rear thru-axle, with Cube also providing an option for its frame storage box.
A Cube CSL Race C:62 full-carbon fork complements the carbon frame. It uses a tapered 1 1/8in to 1 1/4in steerer and 12x100mm thru-axle, creating a lightweight front end designed around precise road handling.
The IC Race Cockpit System integrates the handlebar and stem area with internal cable routing. Cube's Aero Spacer System allows for a clean setup around the headset, while a Garmin mount interface provides a convenient mounting point for a compatible cycling computer.
Shimano 105 Di2 provides electronic 2x12-speed shifting. The FD-R7150 front derailleur and RD-R7150 rear derailleur are paired with a 50/34T Shimano 105 FC-R7100 Hollowtech II chainset and 11-34T CS-R7101 cassette.
That combination provides a broad range for varied road terrain, with the compact 50/34T chainset and 34T largest cassette sprocket giving useful lower gearing for longer and steeper climbs. The 2x12 setup also provides relatively small steps between gears, helping riders maintain a comfortable cadence as speed and gradient change.
Shimano 105 BR-R7170 hydraulic disc brakes use 160mm rotors front and rear. Hydraulic braking provides consistent lever feel and useful modulation, giving riders dependable control on descents and in changing weather conditions.
Newmen Advanced C.38 J carbon wheels bring a lightweight, performance-focused wheelset to the Attain. They use 24 spokes front and rear, Centre Lock rotor fittings and 12mm thru-axles, while the rims are tubeless ready for riders who want to move away from inner tubes.
Continental Grand Prix TR tyres are fitted in a 32-622 size. The 32mm width provides additional air volume compared with narrower traditional road tyres, helping improve comfort and grip over imperfect road surfaces while retaining the efficient rolling characteristics expected from a performance road setup.
A Newmen Advanced carbon seatpost uses a slim 27.2mm diameter, complementing the frame's focus on comfort and helping provide some additional compliance at the saddle. An ACID Nuance Pro saddle completes the main contact points.
At a stated 8.5kg, the Attain C:62 SLX brings together a carbon frame, full-carbon fork and Newmen carbon wheels without turning the bike into an uncompromising race machine. Its focus remains on combining speed with comfort, making it particularly suited to riders who enjoy covering longer distances at a good pace.
Overall, the Cube Attain C:62 SLX offers a balanced road setup. Shimano 105 Di2 brings precise electronic shifting, the 50/34T and 11-34T gearing is well suited to varied terrain, and the 32mm tyres and compliant carbon construction help make long rides more comfortable without losing the efficient feel of a performance road bike.
