The frame is built from 6061 T4/T6 Superlite aluminium and uses Cube's Road Comfort Geometry, creating a road-focused riding position without putting all the emphasis on outright racing. Integrated cable routing and an integrated seatpost clamp give the bike a clean finish, while 12x142mm thru-axles provide a secure rear wheel connection.

At the front, the Cube CSL Race C:62 Disc fork is constructed entirely from carbon. Its carbon construction helps keep weight down while helping to filter some of the smaller vibrations generated by rough road surfaces. A tapered 1 1/8in to 1 1/4in steerer and 12x100mm thru-axle provide a precise connection between the fork and front wheel.

Shimano CUES provides the Attain Race's 2x11-speed drivetrain. An RD-U6040 rear derailleur and FD-U6030-L front derailleur are paired with a CUES FC-U6030-2 chainset, using 46/32T chainrings and an 11-36T cassette.

The 2x11 setup gives riders a broad overall range while retaining smaller steps between gears than a typical single-chainring drivetrain. The 32T inner chainring and 36T largest cassette sprocket provide useful gearing for longer or steeper climbs, while the 46T outer ring gives plenty of range for faster riding.
