The Cube Numove 160 is designed to give young riders a fun and confidence-boosting introduction to cycling. Its lightweight 6061 aluminium frame is built with smooth, rounded edges to reduce the chance of bumps or scrapes, and the low weight makes the bike easier for children to handle as they start to pedal independently. As with Cube’s adult bikes, the frame is thoroughly tested for strength and durability, so it’s ready for the enthusiastic riding that comes naturally to kids.
A rigid aluminium fork keeps the steering predictable, helping new riders learn balance and control without the added weight of suspension. Child-friendly components run throughout the bike, from the shorter crank arms to the narrow Q-factor chainset, making pedalling comfortable and natural for smaller legs.
The enclosed chainguard keeps clothing clear of oily parts and protects the chain from knocks, reducing maintenance for parents. Stopping is made simple with light alloy V-brakes that use levers shaped for small hands, letting young riders control speed with confidence. There’s also a coaster hub for steady, back-pedal braking.
Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres in a 16 x 1.5 size give plenty of grip on grass, paths or playground surfaces while still rolling smoothly. A junior-friendly saddle and compact 450mm handlebar put comfort first, helping children stay relaxed and in control as they learn.
