The Cube Nuroad C:62 SLT brings together a lightweight carbon frameset and a high-end component package for riders who prioritise speed on gravel and mixed surfaces. At a stated 8kg, it combines SRAM Red XPLR AXS electronic shifting, carbon-spoked Newmen wheels and 45mm gravel tyres with the versatility needed for longer rides.
Cube constructs the frame from C:62 carbon using Advanced Twin Mold Technology. Internal cable routing and an integrated seatpost clamp help create a clean appearance, while a 12x142mm rear thru-axle provides a secure wheel connection. SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) also makes replacement hangers easier to source.
Despite its focus on speed, the frame retains useful mounting points for mudguards, a rear rack and kickstand. That gives the Nuroad C:62 SLT the flexibility to take on longer adventures and practical riding alongside gravel racing.
The matching Cube C:62 full-carbon fork uses a tapered 1 1/8in to 1 1/2in steerer and a 12x100mm thru-axle. It includes mudguard and lowrider mounts, as well as provision for internally routing a light cable, providing further options for adapting the bike to different types of riding.
SRAM Red XPLR AXS E1 provides wireless electronic 1x13-speed shifting. Removing the front derailleur keeps gear selection straightforward, while the additional sprockets of the 13-speed setup allow a broad range to be delivered from a single chainring drivetrain.
A 42T SRAM Red XPLR AXS E1 Wide chainset is paired with a Red XPLR XG-1391 E1 10-46T cassette. The 46T largest sprocket provides lower gearing for steeper gravel climbs, while the 10T smallest sprocket extends the range for faster roads and descents.
A power meter spider is integrated into the SRAM Red XPLR chainset, providing power measurement without requiring an aftermarket upgrade. This makes it useful for structured training, pacing efforts during gravel events and keeping track of performance on longer rides.
SRAM Red AXS E1 HRD hydraulic disc brakes provide braking control, with 160mm rotors fitted front and rear. Hydraulic operation offers consistent braking and useful modulation when managing speed on loose surfaces, steep descents or in changing weather.
Newmen Streem G.62 VONOA carbon wheels are a standout part of the build. As well as carbon rims, they use 21 carbon spokes front and rear to create a lightweight, performance-focused wheelset. Centre Lock fittings and 12mm thru-axles complete the setup.
The Newmen wheels are tubeless ready and paired with 45-622 Schwalbe G-One RS Pro tyres, which are also tubeless ready. Their fast-rolling gravel tread complements the Nuroad SLT's focus on pace, while the 45mm width provides useful volume for grip, comfort and control when surfaces become rougher.
An integrated IC Aero Cockpit System keeps the cables hidden through the front of the bike for a particularly clean finish. Cube's Aero Spacer System is incorporated into the cockpit, along with an interface for mounting a compatible Garmin cycling computer.
A 27.2mm Newmen Advanced carbon seatpost is paired with an ACID Nuance SLT X Carbon saddle. Together with the carbon frameset, cockpit and wheels, these components contribute to the bike's low 8kg stated weight.
Overall, the Nuroad C:62 SLT sits at the performance-focused end of Cube's gravel range. SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x13 gearing, a factory-fitted power meter and carbon-spoked Newmen wheels suit racing and fast riding, while 45mm tyres and extensive mounting options retain the versatility needed for longer mixed-surface adventures.
