The Reaction Hybrid ONE 600 is built around Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor, delivering up to 120Nm of torque to help you tackle steep climbs and longer rides with less effort. Assistance feels smooth and controlled, and the Smart System allows ride data tracking and system updates via the Bosch eBike Flow app.
The 600Wh PowerTube battery is fully integrated into the Aluminium Superlite frame, keeping weight low and the look clean. Gravity Casting Technology strengthens high-stress areas, while Agile Ride Geometry balances stability and responsiveness on varied terrain. Boost 148 rear spacing and a 1.5in head tube add stiffness for confident steering and power transfer. There are also mounting points for mudguards, a carrier and kickstand, making it adaptable for commuting or utility use.
Up front, the SR Suntour XCM34 NLO coil fork offers 120mm of travel (100mm on 27.5in models), helping smooth out roots, rocks and rough tracks. Wide 2.6in Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres add grip and comfort, striking a balance between rolling speed and off-road traction.
Shimano Cues 1x10 gearing, with an 11–48T cassette and 38T chainring, provides a wide range for climbing and steady cruising. Designed with durability in mind, it’s well suited to the added torque of an e-MTB. Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors deliver consistent stopping power in wet or dry conditions.
Tubeless ready ACID Pro 30 wheels offer upgrade potential, while integrated cable routing keeps everything tidy and protected from the elements.
If you’re looking to ride further, explore new trails or make hilly routes more manageable, the Reaction Hybrid ONE 600 gives you the support to do it while keeping the feel of a capable hardtail mountain bike.
Bosch Performance Update 2.0
Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.
Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.
The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.
As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.
Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
One thing worth keeping in mind — more power means more stress on drivetrain components, so increased wear is expected over time. If you’re unsure about compatibility, servicing or upgrading components, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help.

Cube Reaction Hybrid One 600 2026 - Electric Mountain Bike
Only had the bike a week done around 40 miles on it so far it’s been great I use it to commute to work it climbs very steep hills no problem usually at 15-16 mph The bike is heavy around 25kg for the medium size that’s worth bearing in mind if you live in a flat and have to carry it up stairs Overall I would recommend this bike
