The Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 takes everything you love about a hardtail mountain bike and adds Bosch-powered versatility to open up new routes and adventures. At its core is a Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivering up to 100Nm of torque, paired with an 800Wh PowerTube battery neatly integrated into the Aluminium Superlite frame. For even longer rides, it’s PowerMore-ready, meaning you can add an extra 250Wh battery with ease.

The frame is designed with Agile Ride Geometry to balance stability and agility on technical trails. Details like integrated cable routing, a neatly hidden seat clamp, and pre-installed chain guide keep the look clean and practical. It’s also ready for ACID mudguards, luggage carrier and front light (via X-Connect), making it as versatile for commuting and trekking as it is for trail riding.

The SR Suntour X1-32 LO-R Air fork provides up to 120mm travel (100mm on smaller sizes and Easy Entry models), taking the sting out of rough terrain. A remote dropper post helps you stay in control on steep or technical descents, while Shimano XT 12-speed gears and a Deore 10-51T cassette ensure a wide range of ratios for climbing and descending.

Stopping power comes from Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston disc brakes with large 203mm rotors, giving consistent, reliable braking even on long descents. The bike rolls on ACID SLX 30 tubeless-ready wheels, wrapped in Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.6” tyres that strike the perfect balance between grip, comfort and rolling efficiency

Bosch Performance Update 2.0

Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.

Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.

The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.

As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.

Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
