The Reaction SLX is built for riders who want sharp handling and dependable performance without the fuss. Its Aluminium Lite frame uses double-butted tubes to keep weight down while maintaining strength. Smooth Welded head tube and seat tube junctions give it a clean finish, and internal cable routing keeps lines protected from mud and spray.
Trail-ready geometry includes a lower top tube and tapered head tube, helping you feel more confident when the trail gets technical. There’s clearance for 2.25in tyres, and the frame features a threaded bottom bracket for straightforward maintenance. Integrated mounting points for mudguards and a carrier, plus a flat mount brake integrated with the kickstand mount, add versatility. It’s also dropper post compatible for future upgrades.
Up front, the RockShox Recon Silver RL air fork delivers 100mm of travel with adjustable air pressure to suit rider weight and terrain. The OneLoc remote lets you firm it up for smoother climbs and open it for rougher sections, giving you control over efficiency and comfort.
Shimano XT 1x12 gearing combines an XT rear mech and shifter with a wide-range 10–51T cassette and 32T chainset. Shifts are crisp and consistent, and the broad range makes steep climbs manageable while still offering speed on flatter sections. ShadowPlus clutch technology helps keep the chain secure over rough ground.
Braking is handled by Shimano XT BR-M8100 hydraulic discs with 180/160mm rotors, delivering strong, progressive stopping power that’s easy to modulate. That added control can help you ride smoother and carry speed with confidence.
Rolling on tubeless ready ACID EX25 rims and Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25in tyres in Addix Performance compound, the Reaction SLX balances low rolling resistance with reliable grip.
