The Stereo Hybrid One44 HPC SLT 800 sits at the performance-focused end of Cube's 140mm e-MTB platform. A C:62 carbon front triangle is paired with a 6061 T6 aluminium rear, balancing weight with the strength needed for regular trail riding. The 800Wh Bosch battery is fully integrated into the frame to maintain clean lines and keep the weight positioned low in the bike.
Cube's Efficient Trail Control suspension and FSP 4-Link layout provide 140mm of rear-wheel travel. Agile Trail Geometry is designed to balance stability on rough descents with the manoeuvrability and climbing ability needed for varied trail rides, rather than pushing the bike towards a dedicated enduro setup.
The angle-adjustable ACROS headset adds another level of tuning. Fibre inserts allow the head angle to be altered, giving riders the option to fine-tune the steering characteristics to suit their terrain and preferences. Advanced Internal Cable Routing keeps cables tidy, while UDH compatibility works neatly with the SRAM Transmission drivetrain.
A Fox 36 Float Factory fork provides 150mm of travel and is specifically optimised for e-bike use. Its GRIP X2 damper offers extensive compression and rebound adjustment, allowing experienced riders to fine-tune how the fork responds to different speeds of impact and returns through its travel.
At the rear, the Fox Float X Factory shock controls 140mm of travel. Adjustable low-speed compression and rebound provide further setup options, while the two-position lever makes it easy to change the shock's behaviour when moving between climbing and descending. Both Factory suspension units feature Fox's Kashima-coated stanchions.
Bosch's Performance Line CX BDU38 motor is listed at 85Nm as standard and can be upgraded to a maximum of 120Nm through Bosch Performance Update 2.0. The update also allows up to 600% support between 0 and 15km/h and up to 750W peak power, aimed particularly at providing additional assistance on steep and technical climbs.
The Performance Update is installed through Bosch's eBike Flow app, where compatible motor settings can also be customised. The assisted speed remains limited to 25km/h. Using the higher power settings can increase battery consumption and drivetrain wear, so riders can tailor the motor output to the terrain and type of ride rather than always using the maximum available assistance.
An 800Wh Bosch PowerTube provides the energy capacity for longer rides, while the Kiox 400C is neatly integrated into the top tube. It keeps key ride and assistance information visible without adding a large handlebar-mounted display.
SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission provides electronic 1x12-speed shifting. Its T-Type drivetrain is designed to work around the frame's UDH interface, while the 10-52t cassette gives a broad gear range for steep climbs and faster trail sections. Shifting is controlled through SRAM's compact AXS Pod Ultimate.
Race Face's ERA e-MTB crankset uses a carbon construction and is fitted with size-specific gearing, with a 36t chainring on 27.5in setups and 34t on 29in setups. This helps tailor the gearing to the different wheel configurations.
Magura Gustav Pro four-piston hydraulic disc brakes are paired with large 203mm rotors front and rear. Their powerful, progressive braking is particularly useful for managing the additional speed and weight of an e-MTB on sustained or steeper descents.
Newmen Phase 30 wheels are tubeless ready and use Boost spacing. Cube pairs them with different Schwalbe Albert tyres front and rear: a 2.5in Albert Trail Pro at the front and a 2.5in Albert Gravity Pro at the rear. Both use Addix Soft rubber, while the more robust rear tyre is suited to the greater loads experienced at the back of the bike.
Cube's Size Split approach adapts the wheel setup across the size range rather than forcing the same wheel configuration onto every rider. This helps maintain suitable proportions and handling characteristics across different frame sizes.
A Fox Transfer Factory dropper post lets the saddle be lowered from the handlebar for additional room to move on steep or technical sections. Its Kashima coating also matches the Factory-level suspension.
With adjustable Factory suspension, electronic XX Transmission, powerful four-piston brakes and Bosch's updateable CX motor, the Stereo Hybrid One44 HPC SLT 800 offers plenty of scope for riders to tune the bike around their preferences. It's particularly suited to experienced e-MTB riders looking for a versatile setup for technical trails, longer all-mountain rides and challenging climbs.
