The Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 HPC SLX 800 is designed to balance capability and adaptability on the trail. Built with a C:62 carbon front triangle and aluminium rear, the frame uses Agile Trail Geometry and Cube’s Efficient Trail Control suspension design to deliver 150mm front and 140mm rear travel. This setup makes it equally at home on steep descents, rough tracks or technical singletrack. Internal cable routing and a hidden seat clamp keep the lines clean, while details like a Direct Mount chain guide, UDH dropout and angle-adjustable headset add practicality and future-proof design.

Power comes from Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor, delivering up to 120Nm of torque with natural-feeling assistance for climbing and technical terrain. The 800Wh PowerTube battery is fully integrated, providing long range for big days out, while the Bosch Kiox 400C display and top tube controller give clear ride data and simple control at your fingertips.

Suspension is handled by a Fox 36 Float Rhythm GRIP fork with 150mm of travel and a matching Fox Float Performance rear shock, both air-sprung and adjustable for rider weight and preference. Shimano’s XT 1x12 drivetrain offers precise, reliable shifting and a wide 10-51T cassette for all gradients.

Braking power comes from Shimano XT BR-M8220 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with oversized 203mm rotors, offering controlled stopping on steep descents. Newmen Performance 30 wheels, tubeless-ready and strong, are fitted with Continental Kryptotal tyres (2.4” wide) for traction and stability across a variety of trail conditions. A Cube dropper post and ACID finishing kit complete the build.

Bosch Performance Update 2.0

Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.

Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.

The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.

As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.

Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
