Bosch assistance comes from the Performance Line CX BDU38 drive unit. The supplied specification lists 85Nm as standard, with the motor upgradable to a maximum of 120Nm through Bosch's Performance Update 2.0. Assistance remains limited to 25km/h.

With the compatible update installed, Bosch also allows up to 750W peak power and up to 600% support between 0 and 15km/h. These higher settings are intended to provide additional assistance on steep climbs and difficult technical sections. Motor characteristics can be customised through the Bosch eBike Flow app to suit different riding preferences.

Performance Update 2.0 also adds features including Extended Boost and support for Bosch's drivetrain tensioner system. The additional motor output can increase loads on drivetrain components, so riders using the higher settings should expect wear to increase accordingly.

An 800Wh Bosch PowerTube battery is integrated into the carbon down tube, providing substantial capacity for longer rides. Actual range will vary with assistance level, motor settings, rider weight, terrain, elevation, temperature and riding conditions.

The Bosch Kiox 400C provides the user interface, neatly integrating ride and e-bike information into the cockpit area without requiring a large conventional handlebar-mounted display.

SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission provides wireless electronic 12-speed shifting. An AXS Pod Ultimate controller operates the rear derailleur, while the wide-range 10-52T XS-1297 cassette provides gearing for everything from steep climbs to faster trail sections.

Schwalbe provides different tyres and compounds at each end. The 2.5in Magic Mary Trail Pro front tyre uses the softer Addix Ultrasoft compound for front-end grip, while the 2.5in Albert Gravity Pro rear uses Addix Soft to balance traction and durability.

Magura Gustav PRO hydraulic disc brakes use four-piston calipers at both ends, paired with large 203mm rotors. This gives the bike substantial braking control for managing speed on long, steep and technical descents.

A Kashima-coated Fox Transfer Factory dropper post allows the saddle to be lowered from the handlebar when descending. It's paired with an ACID Venec EMTB Trail 140 saddle, Race Face ERA 35 handlebar and Cube Performance E-MTB stem.

Integrated cable routing keeps the frame clean, while the Bosch battery sits inside the down tube. Boost 148 rear spacing and the aluminium rear triangle complete a chassis designed around the additional demands of a long-travel e-MTB.
