Diamond back heist 2.0

Cant fault the bike at all absolutely love it in every way possible. Ive been out on it nearly every day since purchasing it and look forward to many more rides my only negative point which was hard to find a negative was the condition the bike was built to when it arrived with me im aware that you have to fit the pedals and straighten the bars when it comes but i went out on a short ride straight away and when i came down a nearby hill i quickly noticed that the front wheel was wobbling on inspection the QR skewer had not been tightened correctly i rectified and now its good luckily i qasnt on a downhill track or off road as this may have been a different story 😩 . Maybe i should have checked this before going out but the reviews on the descripttions on the website did say the bikes were put together by qualified mechanics. My point on this is to anyone buying a bike is to ensure you check before riding. Other than that the bike is definetly a good buy and I recommend to anyone thinking of buting one

Great bike, Great spec!

I've owned this bike for around 1 month now and since I couldn't find any reviews online before I bought it I wanted to ride it for a while to allow me to write an accurate review. As usual the service from Tredz was fantastic, I was kept up to date regarding my order, dispatch and delivery dates. The bike was delivered on time and built to the usual Tredz standard. The only pictures I could find online were the stock photos used for seller websites and so was unsure how it would look in person. When I opened the box I loved it. The matt grey and luminous yellow really work together and looks very different to any bike I've seen. So far I've been using it for cross country and the 20 mile round trip commuting to work. I know it's not the most efficient bike for commuting but it's certainly fast enough and I have cruised past riders on hybrid style bikes. I have topped out a few times going downhill but that's no great surprise using an 11 speed bike on the road. The first outing on the bike was a 10 mile cross country ride which I found to be comfortable and really enjoyable. The solo air front fork is well known to be a good fork it is adjustable to the riders weight and the rebound is also adjustable. Both these tweaks do make a noticeable difference and it's definitely worth while taking the time to do this. Moving from a bike with 26 inch wheels to this one with 27.5 inch I found the rolling speed fantastic and acceleration much faster than I expected plus it corners well. On cross country rides the 11 speed is perfect and covers all the ratios I need. The gears shift smoothly and fast and even after almost 1 month of use and probably over 200 miles covered I have not needed to adjust the indexing at all. The brakes are responsive and have great stopping power and the dropper post was an added bonus that works well. For the price Diamondback have released a bike with a fantastic spec that you would normally only see on bikes a few hundred pounds more expensive. As such they did, in my opinion, cut negligible costs in 2 areas. Firstly there is no protector on the chain stay and on my first run I got a small chip in my paintwork, for about £2 this could have been avoided. Secondly the grips do not lock on and my grips have already started to slip on the bar. Having said that these 2 things do not in anyway take away how much I love this bike.
