The Giant Seek 1 was designed from the ground up to bring the excitement of road cycling to younger riders. With input from Giant’s adult performance road bike range, the Seek delivers the same sense of speed and efficiency but tuned specifically for riders between 130–150cm tall.
The lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame uses smaller-diameter tubing to create a responsive and agile platform that feels stable yet quick. A full carbon fork reduces weight, adds compliance to smooth out road chatter, and ensures precise, predictable handling – perfect for riders building confidence on longer rides or learning race skills.
Key to the Seek’s appeal is its youth-optimised fit. The Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar is narrower and shallower than adult versions, with a shorter reach and drop, allowing small hands to find a natural, comfortable position. Brake levers are also scaled down, with a reduced reach and slimmer hoods, making braking safe and effortless.
For performance, the bike is equipped with a TRP Vistar drivetrain paired to a compact Prowheel 30T chainset and wide-range 12-speed cassette, giving easy climbing gears and plenty of top-end speed for flatter roads. Stopping is handled by Tektro TR-35 disc brakes with 140mm rotors, offering reliable braking in all conditions.
Rolling on Giant SLR 1 650B carbon wheels, fitted with Gavia Course 0 28mm tubeless tyres, the Seek provides a fast, smooth and grippy ride. The D-Fuse composite seatpost adds extra comfort, while the intuitive height-indexed seatpost makes adjusting saddle position simple as your child grows.
The Giant Seek 1 gives junior riders a bike that feels every bit as dialled-in as a full-size road bike, while still being tailored for smaller bodies and developing skills. Whether for weekend road rides, family training spins, or entry into junior racing, it’s a bike that grows with their ambition.
