If you're looking for a strong and sturdy U lock to protect your valuable bike, the Giant Surelock Protector 1 DT is a good choice. Sold Secure Gold approved - this lock will be accepted by most bike insurers (something you should definitely consider if the worst does happen).
Featuring a 14mm ultra hardened steel bar this U lock is very strong. It'll take equipment and time to break through. A handy 10mm extra cable lock allows you to quickly secure quick release components like wheels for added security.
Zinc caps on each side of the U lock provide good hammering protection while the bar provides resistance against cutting and sawing. Included in the pack are 4 standards keys and a very useful LED key so you have plenty of spares.
