Product Description

Ready To Tame Any Terrain

The Carbide R II is an XC shoe with the comfortable, supportive fit found in our premium shoes. We added a nylon and rubber co-moulded outsole for impressive durability, grip and traction in rocks and mud. While we were at it, we redesigned the upper to combine supple synthetic fibre with mesh panels for increased breathability and lighter weight. Three wide straps allow easy fit adjustments, and a supportive EVA footbed enhances comfort. A stout injected nylon sole helps transfer power to the pedals instantly, enhancing your connection to the bike.

Key Features:
  • Upper: High-quality, breathable synthetic fibre with mesh panels, Classic 3-strap closure
  • Outsole: Co-moulded nylon and rubber high-traction lugged outsole, Mid-foot scuff guard, Accommodates steel toe spikes
  • Footbed: Die-cut insoles
  • Weight: 310 grams (size 42)

Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

Look good
by Anonymous user on 25/10/2018

Impressively made and finished shoes. The Dark shadow/red combo looks better in the flesh than in its pictures... Unfortunately, whilst the shoes were great lengthwise, they are too narrow for my foot and are going to have to go back. Giro do seem to use a narrow last, I do not normally need a wide fitting. Disappointed, because they seem good in all other respects.

Excellent pair of shoes for spinning classes and I'll probably use them for my commute too.
