Excellent MTB shoe
by Anonymous user on 14/08/2019

Bought these to replace a similar pair of trail riding shoes and so far so good. Stiff enough for good pedalling but also flexible and grippy enough for the hike-a-bike. I ride them clipped in and no problems interfacing with my Funn two sided pedals. They are also excellent on the flat pedal side, gripping the pedal and staying planted when riding through more difficult terrain where a quick dab of the foot is needed and not being clipped in is more advantageous. Overall very pleased.

Excellent Shoes!
by Anonymous user on 02/06/2019

Had these shoes for 5 months now. Comfortable, very well made and they are eye catching! The spd cleats are hidden in the recess and this makes walking in these easy and you walk with confidence, even on polished floors. A bike friend bought some other brand and was amazed my cleats are recessed..I take a size 12 so went for the 48 size. I can wear thick cycling socks and my feet are not squashed by still have some room to move about. Done approx 800 miles in them so far on mtb, road and touring bikes and they still look brand new. I gently soaked some dry mud from them and they came up pristine. Not the cheapest shoes but definitely happy with the quality .

So far so good
by Nick C on 11/07/2018

I've only used these shoes twice but so far I'm impressed. I got a size larger than my normal shoe size and that proved to be a good decision. Clipping in and out is easy although I might tweak the cleat location. Wouldn't recommend for wet weather or muddy off road. As for wearing as normal trainers, the cleat can still scratch some surfaces but its a lot better than trying to walk in cleated cycling shoes.

Most comfortable
by Mike P on 22/02/2017

With most touring shoes being too narrow for my broad feet, it has been great to find a shoe that gives my toes plenty of room and is extremely comfortable to wear both on and off the bike. I use toe-clips, so cannot comment on their cleat usage, but I can wear these shoes all day. If the orange laces on the black shoes are replaced, they can be worn for virtually any occasion. The arch support obtained from Giro's own Supernatural fit kit insoles can be adjusted to perfection. With some mesh in the uppers, these shoes are breathable, though not waterproof. However, with Eager nylon overshoes my feet remain warm and dry in any weather conditions. These have to be my favourite touring shoe. Mike

Stylish and practical
by Stephen J on 28/08/2015

These casual looking lace-ups are perfect for folk who aren't keen on the look of cycling shoes. Cleats can be fitted to the recessed mount which is surrounded by a grippy Vibram sole. The shoes are practical for walking or riding clipless or flat pedals. Soles are stiff enough for riding while offering a decent level of comfort for walking. Uppers are synthetic suede and mesh - probably not so good in wet weather. This model is compatible with two bolt cleats, I use mine with egg-beaters. Sizing of cycling shoes tends to be somewhat conservative and I ordered a size larger than usual, they fit me fine. I love the style and practicality, a little on the expensive side.
