The Trekking 6.5 High is built around a comfortable high-step frame designed for stability and control when riding loaded or covering longer distances. Its upright position works well for commuting and leisure riding, helping reduce strain on longer days in the saddle.
Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, delivering smooth, responsive assistance that feels controlled whether you’re pulling away from junctions or climbing with panniers. The integrated 600Wh PowerTube battery provides plenty of capacity for daily riding, with the option to add a 250Wh range extender for longer trips.
Up front, the Suntour MOBIE34 Boost fork offers 100mm of coil-sprung travel to smooth rough roads, paths and kerbs. Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes give reliable stopping power in changing weather, while wide Schwalbe Johnny Watts tyres add comfort, grip and visibility thanks to reflective sidewalls.
The Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain uses LinkGlide technology, designed for durability under e-bike loads and smooth shifting over time. A dropper seatpost adds flexibility for frequent stops, and the adjustable stem makes it easy to fine-tune your riding position.
Practical details round things off. The sturdy rear rack supports panniers and modular accessories, integrated lighting keeps you visible, and the bike’s 150kg maximum system weight makes it well suited to everyday transport. The Trekking 6.5 High is a dependable choice for riders who want comfort, power and versatility in one package.
Bosch Performance Update 2.0
Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy
Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.
The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.
As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.
Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
