The axles and freehubs are interchangeable between all the Spin Doctor rear hub models, (Note: Although they are not cross compatible with the original Spin Doctor parts). This interchangeability allows customisation of the Spin Doctor hubs to suit your needs

Spin Doctor Solid Axle:

Several riders have asked for a nutted axle version of the popular Spin Doctor Disc Cassette hub... so here is the optional conversion kit.

  • 185mm x M10 Cr-Mo axle.

  • Steel bearing covers and locknuts.

  • Alloy M10 nuts.

  • Rear - M10x135x185mm with bearing covers and axle nuts.

  • Weight: 140g

  • Solid Cr-Mo axle KIT option with CNC machined bearing covers and M10 nuts included.

  • This kit allows the Spin Doctor to be run with BMX style chain adjusters.

  • Note: M10 axle kit also fits optional 14mm Axe Men convertors to allow Spin Doctor to run with 14mmx135mm frames.

Who needs wheels?

A wheel upgrade can make a massive difference to your bike. Because of this, you might consider a new set of wheels, even if the old ones aren’t worn or damaged.

What are the choices?

Mountain bikers choose their wheels in 26in, 27.5in or 29in size, depending on what their frame is built for. Road bike wheels are 700c. Beyond this, there’s a dizzying array of rim material and depth, spoke type and hubs galore – enough to make your head spin faster than your wheels.

What should I buy with them?

A wheel upgrade always deserves a lovely new set of tyres. These too have a massive impact on how your bike rides.

Anything else?

There are several approaches to buying wheels – you can buy a full wheelset, for perfect pairing, or you can take a modular approach, picking hubs and rims before having a new set built to your specification.
