Hope Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket
The Hope Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket is ideal for Shimano, Race Face and Truvativ (extra conversion kit required). This external bottom bracket is available with two different bearing options and comprises machined aluminium cups which hold either full stainless steel cartridge bearings, or ceramic bearings in stainless races. These custom, Swiss made bearings are double sealed which gives much greater life span than stock units and are also replaceable. The bearings are made by INA and have been designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers - again increasing life and reliability. Hope use a non contact, free running labyrinth seal to protect the bearing externally, and the machined aluminium centre tube is sealed internally with o-rings.

- • T47 30mm bottom brackets use Hopes existing 30mm BB tool HTT0015S. The tool was modified at the beginning of August 2019, only tools produced after this will work with T47 BB cups. Revised tools are still fully compatible with our 30mm threaded BB cups.
