Product Description

Bike bells generally look & sound a bit ugly. But why? What if they looked sexy & sounded like an angel playing a glockenspiel?

The bells fit on almost all cylindrical bars. The Small Oi is best for the common 22.2mm bar, and with the "spacers" that come in the pack, the Large Oi is for all bar sizes up to 31.8mm. The Oi will also work on any aero bar with a 16mm cylindrical section (usually near the stem).

Key Features:

SIZE: Small bell fits bars 22.2mm diameter // Large bell fits bars 23.8mm - 31.8mm (How to measure your handlebars).

WEIGHT: Small 18g // Large 28g

MATERIALS: Aluminium with Nylon mount & acctuator

BIKE ATTACHMENT: Nylon clamp with hex screw to secure bell to your bike. What about getting it on the bar? Just pop it over, give it a quick tighten up, and you're good to go. No sliding down the handlebars, no dismantling and re-assembling.

STYLES: Brushed Aluminium, Black, Brass, Copper

CABLE MANAGEMENT: Built into the shape of the Oi mount is a cable management system. So not only does it allow the bell to look and sound uninterrupted, it also helps gather your cables (for the organiser inside us all)

Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

Ring not loud enough
by Anonymous user on 06/04/2020

Looks OK on the handlebars - but as others report striker does not always engage and ring not loud enough is there is ambient noise

Form over function

My son bought us 1 each. They are close to useless. Look good but the RING is too quiet & the hammer often skews around which stops it from working altogether.

Stylish, lightweight bell
by Anonymous user on 18/01/2020

The innovative design of this bell makes it much more useable than a standard type of "little bell", especially as it takes much less valuable handlebar space. It seems much better made than many and the sound is it makes is fine - not enough to blast a clear path ahead of you or to compete with a car horn but sufficient to let dog walkers and other pedestrians of your presence. Well done to Knog for taking a fresh look at the humble bike bell.

Sad but true
by Anonymous user on 30/10/2019

I really wanted to love this bell, and I still like the look of it but it fails on two points... Its too quiet... It lasted 2 short commute rides. I have both the small and regular sizes and in both, the ringer disengaged from its housing and therefore didn't chime. The pro or whaterver they call the better version looks better but I think they have had enough of my £

Rubbish !!
by Richard G on 09/01/2019

Bought this type of bell as i wanted something discreet but fit for purpose. Only had it for a couple of months and already one of the vertical guides that holds the hammer in place has broken off. The sound is too quiet and any other noises , traffic / wind etc drowns out the effect. I'm sure there is better and cheaper alternatives.

Stylish and discreet bell
by Anonymous user on 27/11/2018

I like this bell, not the loudest but works well enough and is discrete and sleek on the bike. It was easy to fit and I had to use the extra plastic insert for a tight fit on a narrower handlebar.

bought this bell hoping it would be a step up from the cheaper ones, but the sound is far too quiet even away from traffic noise, very dissapointed

Bells & Horns Guide

What are bike bells and horns?

Bells and horns are a great way of alerting other road or path users to your presence. They are easy to attach to your handlebars and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and loudness options.

Who needs a bells or horn?

If you regularly cycle on paths designed for bikes and pedestrians, bells and horns are a must-have for alerting people to your presence.

What are the choices?

There are a variety of bells and horns to choose from, varying in budget and volume. Choose one that’s easy to operate when wearing gloves and one that’s unlikely to rust quickly.

What should I buy with them?

Other accessories for your handlebars include lights and cycle computers – why not create yourself a mini control panel of useful devices?

Anything else?

Why can’t an elephant ride a bicycle? Because he doesn’t have a thumb to ring the bell.
